Who we are

New Life Alliance Church

Opened it’s doors to the community of Newark, DE on August 6, 1995 by Pastors Charles Walz and Vincent Marshall. The NLAC was established as a merger of two churches of the Alliance that understood the benefit of the union as an opportunity to better serve the community, by being equipped to offer a full range of ministry opportunities.

VISION

Our vision at New Life Alliance Church is to build, equip and mobilize reproducing disciples of Christ.

PURPOSE STATEMENT

As a dynamic church proclaiming the word of God, we purpose to honor God by making disciples of Jesus Christ who will:

  • EXALT Him through prayerful dependence and worship
  • ENCOURAGE each other toward spiritual maturity in the fellowship of a caring congregation
  • EQUIP each other for ministry through responsible membership and service according to our spiritual gifts
  • EVANGELIZE the world by attracting and leading people into a warm personal relationship with Jesus Christ and by participating in the worldwide outreach of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA)

As part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance we are:

Christian, believing that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, and we follow Him as Savior and Lord.

Missionary because we are a church-planting movement committed to going into all the world to reach lost people with the good news of Jesus.

An Alliance of evangelical believers joined together in local churches and dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission given by our Lord Jesus Christ. That Commission clearly instructs us:

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

(Matthew 28: 19, 20 NIV)
